GTA V Glitch (that really pissed me off)

So I had started building up my garage and found a Sandking XL (the big off road truck). The XL designates 4 door and is relatively rare (at least from what I've seen), so I decided to keep it and mod it out. Put like 100 grand into it, all armored out, bullet proof tires, etc.

Called my mechanic to bring it to me, and he shows up with my Jeep. WTF? okay maybe I clicked the wrong one. Nope. Go back to my garage, my Jeep is still there. The same Jeep I'm in. and my jacked up truck is gone. Not in the insurance lot, not in the impound lot. GONE.

Thanks Obama.

After driving around for a good while, I could only find the 2 dorr version of this truck again so now I'm re-building that out. Awesome glitch to have if it happened to a super car that's worth something. not awesome when its the other way around.

That sucks, I've never heard of that bug before. If you haven't already done so, I'd double check and call Mors Mutual in case you can make a claim. but, it sounds like you now have two copies of the same Jeep, so it seems like something wonky happened.

Anyway, if you haven't built your Sandking SWB out yet, and you'd rather get another XL, I haven't found that one or the other spawns more frequently. It usually spawns as either one or the other, rarely both at the same time, but either one seems to spawn equally as often. Of course, you could just buy an XL if you can afford to.

A couple of good places where they spawn parked (not driving around) are the Land Act Reservoir:

And a beach near the base of Mount Chiliad:

It's a lot easier than driving around the desert streets waiting for the right truck to drive by. It's best to go during the day, in a chopper. Fly down until you can see what vehicles have spawned, and if it isn't what you want, fly away a little bit out of sight, and return. If you've flown far enough, different vehicles should have spawned. Both locations randomly spawn Sandkings and Bisons. The reservoir also has Sultans & Injections, and the beach has clean Surfers & clean Rebels, among other less desirable cars. If you're feeling lucky, you can try and get your desired vehicle to re-spawn with or without accessories like roll bars, brush guard, surfboard, etc.

I always heard the 2-door was the rare one.... at least in SP. The 4-door can always be found on the beach near the amusement park, parked next to a jump ramp. In SP.

Most likely. I was going to fix my motorcycle but I cracked a case over the weekend so now I have to wait for that to arrive, and my lazy ass would rather play GTA than go to the gym, so yes.

I had a range rover, a 911 (comet) and a GTR (elegy), all modded, bulletproof tires, etc. - spent a hefty portion of my stimulus money on them - logged in the following day, totally gone. Only my stupid hummer that I've had since I started playing online was in there. Unbelievable. I re-made the GTR and recently got another rover off the street, but I can't afford to buy and mod the 911 again. It was awesome =(

Conclusion: Rockstar blows.

Yea, I've got both a dirty and a clean Rebel, but yesterday I saw that some clean Rebels spawn with or without at least 2 different chrome brush guards. Mine 's already all done out, but hmm...

See, I waited until I got the stimulus package too because they said they were not going to release the monies until the bugs (like the disappearing cars) were fixed. After I got the stimulus I upgraded the truck, and then boom, BUG!

That's exactly why I waited. I was furious for like half an hour and then I reasoned with myself that it's just a video game. ShoneBug970 is an enterprising dude and can rob any number of armored vehicles or convenience stores to get more pay-n-spray money.
